By the hair on my chinny chin chin, I am getting this in!
This entry is for The Craft Barn's Alpha challenge and the letter is 'Z'. Now what am I going to do?
The only person I know that uses Z words is Doctor Seuss!
My word (and it is one of my favorites) is ZAFFER. You are wrong, it is not a rock group!
It is the impure oxide of cobalt, used by enamelers and porcelain manufacturers as a blue color.
These bones, these bones, these old bones --- I am slowly getting better and am going to start going down to my craft room once a day. I do appreciate all of your e-mails and cards. Of course I also love it when you visit my blog. Thank you!
Fantastic Z page! And who doesn't love a little zaffer every now and then, right? Love it girlie!!
Glad you're getting there slowly Sandy.
Great to see you back crafting with your fabulous journal pages.
Thanks for explaining your word as I've never heard of it, but I do love the images you've used for it - fantastic
Keep taking it easy and you'll get there eventually - lots of R&R

Glad you are feeling a little better. Always love your pages, you make them so interesting. Those bottles are the true color of cobalt blue and the chemist is awesome. I was reading Marilyn comment when she said where do you get a stamp like that and why do you have it? I always wonder those things... I see people using these incredible images (stamps) which are so perfect and I wonder what made them buy it in the first place? I do agree with her but I'm also one of those persons that buys those different kind of stamps. You never know when you might need something that is so amazing that no one will ever have. Fantastic project!!!
Hi there, Sandy! It's me again! I just wanted to say that a TH rose was me being lazy and abbreviating! I meant a Tim Holtz die cut of a rose! You can use it with a Big Shot die cutting machine. it's called the Tattered pine cone die and I think it's made by Sizzix! Thanks for the nice comments! Well, you learn something every day Sandy! I'll have to drop zaffer nonchalantly into conversations from now on. Who doesn't love a deep cobalt blue? Reminds me of the many moods of the Great Lakes, beautiful. I put up a new recipe post today... and titled the post for you, seeing as how you like the baking and cooking posts so much!!
Well, I have discovered a new word! I love what you have done with this page and blue is one of my favourite colours.

Great interpretation, well done.
Some of the avatar/pictures (like the lovely birds one or the duck with the flower) overlaps the text in the middle, so I could not read everything.
Nonetheless, you did a great job with this page.
