In Celebration of Rudolph
It's Rudolph Day over at Sarn's and you can see some really neat ideas for Christmas cards. Better yet join in the fun! While you are there, check out Sarn's dangle tangles and her to die for Art Journal. Can't tangle? No problem - she has some of her own designs for sale. I do love them.
Next thing I know, she will have her own book of tangles.
Two clean and simple Christmas cards ready to send to friends with a note of merriment and cheer.
Again I want to thank you all for all your comments and smiles.

Rum Anyone?
First I want to thank all of you beautiful friends out there in Blogland that sent me love when I posted about the death of a very sweet friend. It still hurts - I am sure it will take a long time to heal. I cannot imagine what her family is going through.
Now it is time to lighten the spirit a little. No pun intended. What do you do with a bottle of rum?
Why your drink it of course! When the bottle is empty, you go out into your garden and collect some flowers and arrange them in your gorgeous imported rum bottle. What do you do with the cork? You sniff on it now and then to remind you of Jamaica and when the aroma dissipates, you use it for cards!
It is time for another challenge at A VINTAGE JOURNEY. The theme for this challenge is Spring Flowers.
I encourage you to visit A VINTAGE JOURNEY - very talented people are being showcased as well as the design team. I promise you, you will not regret it.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and all of your kind comments. They always make my heart smile!
Sandy
OH!!!! Do you see my husband's head in the bottom left hand mirror? I did not see it until I posted but I decided to keep it because he deserves to be in my Vintage Journey Journal too!!!

I love you
The loss of a friend is like that of a limb; time may heal the anguish of the wound, but the loss cannot be repaired. .......
I just learned yesterday that a good friend of mine passed away. I am still in shock as I am sure her family is as well. She was one of my first blogging friends and we lovingly shared our histories and worries. We shared our love of reading and what good books to read. We shared our love of food especially when we got to eat out in restaurants. She shared her love of her church with me and her church family. She shared her love of family.
I love you Linda and will always love you. Peace and Grace my friend.

Bonjour
This French inspired garden page is for my art journal that I am making for A Vintage Journey. Each challenge at A Vintage Journey will result in a new page for my book. The challenge is to make something "a little bit French". A little bit French? That's like saying a little bit pregnant. To me, you are either French or you're not but Astrid has asked for "a little bit French" oui!!
Not too much Tim Holtz on here - just the pewter lock. Vintage? What about my main image. French? To the bone!
Challenges I am entering:
A Vintage Journey - A little bit French
Vintage Stamping Challenges - Challenge #19 - Anything Goes
I do appreciate you visiting my blog and taking the time to leave a comment. It does mean a lot.
Thanks,
Sandy
