The Color Blue

By the hair on my chinny chin chin, I am getting this in!
This entry is for The Craft Barn's Alpha challenge and the letter is 'Z'.  Now what am I going to do?
The only person I know that uses Z words is Doctor Seuss!

My word (and it is one of my favorites) is ZAFFER. You are wrong, it is not a rock group!
It is the impure oxide of cobalt, used by enamelers and porcelain manufacturers as a blue color.

These bones, these bones, these old bones --- I am slowly getting better and am going to start going down to my craft room once a day.  I do appreciate all of your e-mails and cards.  Of course I also love it when you visit my blog.  Thank you!
Sandy

I'm happy to hear 'the old bones' are mending. It really makes one appreciate the little things, doesn't it?
I also like the word ZAFFER... I've never heard of it before but it just rolls off the tongue... zaffer, zaffer, zaffer...
This is another great page Sandy. I love the bottle and liquid drops splashing down plus the chemist is very cool too... where do you get a stamp like that and why do you have it? I always wonder those things... I see people using these incredible images which are so perfect for the project and I wonder what made them buy it in the first place.
It's another incredible page though and I always enjoy viewing them.

Glad you are feeling a little better. Always love your pages, you make them so interesting. Those bottles are the true color of cobalt blue and the chemist is awesome. I was reading Marilyn comment when she said where do you get a stamp like that and why do you have it? I always wonder those things... I see people using these incredible images (stamps) which are so perfect and I wonder what made them buy it in the first place? I do agree with her but I'm also one of those persons that buys those different kind of stamps. You never know when you might need something that is so amazing that no one will ever have. Fantastic project!!!

Great interpretation, well done.
Some of the avatar/pictures (like the lovely birds one or the duck with the flower) overlaps the text in the middle, so I could not read everything.
Nonetheless, you did a great job with this page.
Thanks for playing
