Brrr - Snowy Trees

It is once again time to post a card for my Christmas Card Club.   Christine has challenged us to make a card with the theme 'Snowy Trees'.  I have challenged my self to make as many mice cards I can that fit into the challenge.  So far so good.  I also like showing off my wee mice collection.  I do love my little"mices" ever so much.

"Brrrr Mama - it is cold out here but I sure appreciate my blanket!"

After spending the night out in the cold night up a tree, little Artie made it  home safe and sound.  And guess what?  Mama Mouse had a nice plateful of hot pancakes for him with homemade syrup.
I wish I could make little mice like this.  Annette Peterson who started all this wonderful fantasy world by making her little critters out of baker's dough.  Now I think she makes them out of clay and then makes a mold for them.  The detail is incredible.  This one is 2 and 1/4 inches wide (6 cm) and 2 inches high (5cm).  I love miniatures but I imagine most people do.

I am also sure that most of you follow the very talented Alison.  Her mother has her own doll house museum that is wonderful.  I think if you go to Alison's blog you can find a way to her Mum's doll houses full of wonderful miniatures.  Alison makes a lot of the goodies inside the houses herself.  It is a real treat to see!

I really want those of you who follow me to know how much I appreciate your kind words.  I must admit, one of my most favorite things to do is seeing what y'all are creating out there in 'Blogland' - Dang you are so good!!!!!

What a delightful snowy tree with its very own sweet mouse perched in the oval. A pretty way to frame the oval atop those trees. Cute image, and great card design. Well done!! TFS & Hugs

I love how you have incorporated your theme of mice into the Christmas card challenge. This is a really cute image and not seen it before. I have a collection of meeces each one sitting on a different piece of cake. Just checked the bottom of one and it just says Country Life Sculptures Worcestershire England so no artists name.

Such a sweet card with the shimmery snow on the pretty trees.
Glad Artie has a blanket and some yummy pancakes waiting for him too.
There is something so captivating about teeny tiny things and I find that super huge things can be striking too.
Miniatures are perfect for collections and yours sure is fun dear Sandy!
Happy May weekend to you and yours.

Hi Sandy, lovely card with a sweet image, love your trees in the background, it's a super design.
Another beautiful little ornament, I really do love them.
Yes you did see a little mouse on my card along with the first verse of It was the Night before Christmas.

We were in Ullapool yesterday and had planned to go for a sail to the Summer Iles to see seals, but there were no boats offering sails out and it was too expensive anyway, not the best of weather either.
Thanks for you kind comments and your visit, Kate x

Gorgeous glittery frosty trees on your adorable card... a new favourite card. And those are definitely my favourite mice so far. How cute with the tiny stove, and how caring of Mama Mouse to be ready with the pancakes when Artie made it home - what an adventure!

I've been meaning to send Cestina over to take a look at your mice, but as I got to this post she was just beside me, so we've now both oohed and aahed together!

Well, sweetie, I see you have been taking away from blogging on your own blog lately, so luckily I missed this one, and have something to oooh and aaah over! IA adore these little mice, and I have to say this card is one of my favorites. I love those glistening trees (one of my favorite dies!) and the snowy background to set off that adorable little mouse! Christmas would just not be Christmas without a mouse!

thank you for all your super sweet comments on my blog. I particularly liked that you caught on that Capon Springs is stuck in the 50's. Last year they finally brought us into the present by adding AC to the main house public areas and dining room. You would love it there! I'm going to give you a link (hopefully) so you can check it out in more detail. https://www.caponsprings.net/ I hope you have a wonderful day! Hugs!
