It is time to post my card for my Christmas Card Club challenge #9. Our theme, Poinsettias, was chosen by Mary.
More computer problems coming my way. My wonderful husband wants to try to fix it himself so he does have a program working where I can get my mail and post but I have to go around the yard and through the kitchen door to post! I do hope he gets my original program to work! There was a day when I would have become quite upset but I have learned to say "whatever" - it's called going with the flow. Now the keeper of the flame, The Duchess, kindly helped me out once again. Thank you Margaret!
This is an image from a House Mouse CD. I saw several people who had previously used colored images and then colored over the image . As I did not have this stamp I told myself "Sandy just do it!" To be honest with you, it is the hardest one to color I have done yet. I used a combination of Derwent Inktense , Faber Castell and Prismacolor colored pencils. So far, my choice of product to use for coloring is colored pencils. I have a lot to learn using them but for once I can honestly say I really enjoy coloring.
Isn't she sweet - she is only one and a half (4cm) high and one and a half inch (4cm) wide!
Are you getting ready for Christmas -- I am!!!!! If you want to see some great ideas using Poinsettias then look on the right side of my blog for the members of my Christmas Club and click on their name!
Thanks for your visit and all the love and encouragement you give me!

Christmas is always in the back of my mind, but I can't say that I'm getting ready for it. As usual, your card is just adorable. This type of coloring I enjoy...not the adult coloring books though. That tiny figurine is so sweet. I think my mother could rival your mouse collection as she loves them as well and has collected for many years. They really are cute tho.
awww, this is so cute. I do love the House Mouse stamps and you've made a grand card with this sweet image.
Your colouring is great. I love the colouring, it is so relaxing for me. I have to get back at using my pencils. Started with them and loved them but they have been neglected since I got my Copics.
Hi Sandy, Great card design and a really cute image. Love your cute little mouse ornament she is soooooooo cute. Hope you are having a lovely weekend and that you can soon get your computer back to normal and post without going for a walk (must be awkward if it's raining!!!)

Gorgeous card! Fabulous colouring too and I love your little ornament xxx
Another beautiful card Sandy. I do love poinsettisa, and have still got last years, though it's looking rather sickly at the moment - yours is a much better colour! Your mouse really is very sweet, and rather an accomplished knitter lol.
Have a fun week, and good luck with your computer.
Sue xx

Hi Sandy
This is fabulous ... Love the mouse... Stunning card....
Thanks for your lovely Comments Sandy
Hugs Sylvie xx
Amazing once again! You must have a figurine to match every card you make! Love it!!!! Your card is adorable and I'm surprised that you like the colored pencil technique. I like to use them also and I use Gamsol (odorless mineral spirits) to blend the colors together with a Tortillion (blending stump) It's only May and I bet you have a stack of Christmas cards made. Good for you and it is a joy to visit! xoxo, Cathy
Beautiful Christmas card Sandy, great colouring on this cute image, love the card design.
Hope you get your computer issues sorted..

Another lovely card Sandy, have never tried colouring over an image and this looks really good. You will be so organised this Christmas, just like your little mouse ornament, and I'm sure she will get that stocking finished in time.

I just said I love your Mouse, but this one is by far my favorite... I love knitting. She is exquisite! Sandy, your card is awesome, I share with you the love for colored pencils... as much as I love my Copics, my heart goes to wood pencils, Faber castel, are my very very favorite.

Oh my, I hope your geographic dimension to posting ends soon!! But in the meantime, this is adorable, and your coloring is perfection!! I am not into it yet myself.... too impatient and have never been one to stay in the lines....but I love what you have done here with this cute image! And again, I adore your little statue!! So cute! xxx Lynn
Sandy, you had me in stitches about your trip to post; Amen, sister--I feel your pain! It took me nearly an hour to comment on two blogs this morning! My son woke up and saw my distress, and came to the rescue--I think! It didn't help any for another hour (he added something to "clean" my computer), (You mean wipe (my computer clean) like with a cloth?) but things are running smoother now.
Your poinsettias are fantastic! You do this coloring thing quite well! Love those mice--they bring a big smile to my face. Hugs!
I always have to smile when I see these House Mouse images! I love this one with the poinsettia and you've colored beautifully! And I love Miss Mouse knitting the Christmas stocking!
A really sweet card, coloured really well! hugs x
What a sweet card. I love the little mice.
I have the house mouse CD and have only used one image....I have been so busy but can't wait to use more images. Yes, I find some images so much harder than others to color. No, I'm not ready for Christmas...haha BUT, it would be nice to get started on the cards.
Getting ready for Christmas - you are joking! I dare not think about it or my mind will explode.
Love the card you have made, HouseMouse do some lovely designs and you have done this one proud.
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
Great card Sandy and what an idea to enhance over the top using coloured pencils. The result is perfect. Finally managing to get round everyone to comment. This flu virus is a real nasty and leaves you feeling so weak and tired. Hugs Mrs A.
Hope your computer problems will soon be over, Sandy! This card is so cute! The mice are so sweet! Love your coloring! Hugs, Sandra
Hi Sandy
What a super card. I'm not a colourist but a great idea to colour with your own palette to enhance the original.
You must be great at dusting with all these lovely little ornaments lol!
Hope you sort the computer glitches soon.
Best wishes.

Hi Sandy, thanks for your kind words at my blog and yes I agree the flapper could be painted in the blues/fushias, will give it a go next time. Looks like I've missed your recent beautiful Christmas designs. The colouring on your cute mice is gorgeous, beautiful lay-out as well. Take care, xx
Hi, Sandy! You are seriously making amazing headway with your Christmas cards. This is so cute - love those mice! So sorry for the computer headaches - just have that. Have a lovely week!
Oh, how sweet those house mice are (hice mice?), and the colouring is so pretty and delicate. Love the layered matting too - the candy stripe is such fun. Sorry to hear you're having computer problems - I know how frustrating that can be, but it sounds as though you've got good tech support in the house!
And another adorable teeny tiny china mouse... she's a good deal more ready for Christmas than I am!
Alison x
Gosh glad I didn't miss your pretty poinsettia card!
One and a half inches ... squeeeeal ... such an itty bitty treasure ♥
I can honestly say I am not getting ready for Christmas but I congratulate you on adding to your already fine Christmas card array.
You go Sandy
Ho Ho Ho oxo
