I am a day late and a dollar short. My Nanny used to say that all the time. God rest her soul.
I am going to art journal as much as I can and would like to have several completed by the end of the year. Some I will bind and some will already be bound. This is a big experiment for me as I will be using new dies, new stamps and new craft supplies that have never seen the light of day. I do hope to learn lots of new technique (at least new for me) and improve the quality of my "art work". Yes, I did use that term loosely! The journals will be full of notes about problems I had and techniques and colors I really liked. Along with taking a couple of classes, this should be a busy year!
Have I told you bout my cousins Billy Bob and Thelma Sue? We're from back in the mountains of North Carolina and if you know anything 'bout hillbillies you'll understand what I am about to tell you.
We had a little New Year's Eve party and Billy Bob decided to come decorated as a Christmas tree. I guess he got New Years confused with Halloween. But he sure did look purttie. Thelma Sue thought she would put one of Billy Bob's fingers into an electrical socket to see if he would lite up like those flashing bulbs he is so fond of using. Needless to say, he went out with a bang ... A BIG BANG ....... KABOOM!+#!*#!
WELCOME TO 2016!!!
Maybe I should have named this - "The Dark Side". If you click on the picture and make it larger it might look somewhat better. The image is called Tangled Enthusiasm from Stampotique Originals and I think these "critters" are so hysterical! But I really need to learn the best way to stamp with them. They have a lot of lines, consequently you end up with a lot of black ink.
Thanks for visiting and I hope y'all will visit me again. Billy Bob and Thelma Sue will be back and bringing lots of fried chicken and biscuits n' gravy with them. Now y'all come back ya hear!
