Ghost Writer

I found a surprise in my stash and decided there is no time like the present to use it!

This grunge book will be perfect for my makes for A Vintage Journey.  Alison chose the theme for this challenge "words".  I guess that comes as no surprise!!

The title of this make is "Ghost Writer".  I am lucky to have so many things that I really like doing.  One of my most favorite past times is reading - I LOVE to read.

So I am entering my grunge page at A Vintage Journey -- I do hope to see you there.  I do believe they have one of the best design teams you can find anywhere!!!!

Thanks for visiting and leaving such sweet comments.  I love to visit you too!
Sandy

This is fantastic Sandy. Love what you did with your find. I also love the image and the statement. Great design. I think your name is Santa Claus. The second or third pkg. came Thursday and sent you an email last night. I've had company all of last weekend and Scott and Debra are coming today. I also love to read. I am reading all of Michael Connelly's mysteries. I am 3/4 through all of his books.

Fabulous book, Sandy! It will be great to have a place to keep all your treasures from this challenge.
I have been over there snooping and have actually started something for their challenge.
Love the words you chose and your fabby finished results.

PS Took Little Miss C and P tothe nursery near us. They have about 100 chickens and sell the eggs. They also have miniature rabbits and best of all GOATS! We saw a day old little baby goat and he was so cute and inquisitive. The other goats are all due next week so we will go back to take photos of the other new babies! Made me think of you!!!

Wonderful project for a reader. I knew there was some reason we clicked! I love to read as well. Great take on the theme word and how fortunate you found the stash surprise to get you started. Love the new picture BTW! We have a lovely Sunshine Sunday down the hill. Looks like the cold last week didn't kill off the blooms on the trees. Happy Sunday, TFS & Hugs

What a fabulous grunge page, Sandy - I love that it all came about because of your surprise find... and I love that it is all inspired by a love of reading - best of all possible worlds!

The lettering, and script stamping and that fabulous sentiment all work beautifully together - love the detail of the text on the jigsaw piece! - and the natural earthy colour palette is right up my street.

Thanks so much for joining us on A Vintage Journey, and for your kind words about us!!

What a wonderful message and a beautiful way to show it! I love to read too and find too little time for it. I'm thankful for audiobooks so I can "read" while doing other things.
