Flip and Flop

My life has been forever changed.  Last Saturday my husband and I drove down to South Carolina to pick up our to new babies Flip and Flop who are now in the neighborhood of ten weeks old.

Here is PaPa  Art with Floppy - he is carrying her to the cage he built for our SUV for the trip back to the mountains of Western North Carolina.  What a long trip for such a wee baby. Flip and Flop all settled in for their first cart trip.

Oh Mama!! Is this my very own "The grass is greener of the other side of the fence" pasture!??!!!!!!

Oh thank you Mama - thank you!  I want to give you a big kiss!!

At last Flip (the white male) and Flop ( the little one behind Flip) are home with Art and me.  It really leaves me with a huge smile on my face.  They are just like babies -- all they do is eat and poop and the minute Art or I leave them alone they start crying like you would not believe.  And they are loud too.  When the little male cries, it sounds like he is saying "Pa,Pa!"    So I run up and down the mountain all day to keep them company while they eat and poop.

My love to you all and I hope you enjoyed this post!!!!!
Sandy

I love your happy face maaaamma!! I love their long ears, and of course Flop is most gorgeous, takes after her momma. lol Boy does Art know how to build things, nice carrier and look at the barn with the rock terrace, so professional. I need Art at our house, I have a list a year long for him!
The most nicest part are both of your smiles, they are huge and I am so happy for you both!!!! Seeing how sweet those goats are, I guess I can forgive you for ignoring me. hehe.
Congratulations my friend, I love your Kids and thank you for sharing them with me.
Love ya! Kelly

Aren't they cute! Wait till they stop eating and pooping and have some babies... there's nothing cuter than a baby goat, nothing at all! I was amazed at how tiny they are when born but yep, cute as a button and they will just love climbing those rocks!
I can tell by the smiles on both your faces how happy you are to have them.

Such pretty little goats! They are so much fun, but I know from experience they can strip a lilac bush in a second flat lol. The very first goat we had, of course, I had never owned one before and the fence we had was not goat proof. Lo and behold the goat got out, went across the road and our neighbor who had a brand new house had there door open. Well the goat entered the house, the lady went balistic and started screaming and hollering and the goat was bouncing off her brand new wall...jeez was that ever a sight!! Needless to say the lady was not very friendly after that. :) Anywho I love your little goats and you look so happy...hugs! Leah Ann
