One Stamp Three Ways

Good afternoon all my creative friends out there in Blogland!!  All of you that have elected to follow me, I sure do appreciate it!
A couple of weeks ago I was chatting with Danielle and she told me that she was making a Christmas card every month and would I like to join her.  I said yes - that would give me more incentive to get some Christmas cards done.
I am calling this post One Stamp Three Ways   --

This was the hardest card to take a picture of -- my husband (he is my assistant) only took 436 pictures of this one card.  The card itself is forest green and you cannot see the holly in the corners.  But no matter what he did, the silver sparkle spray I used would not come out in the right way -- this was the best of the lot.

This is my canvas done with the same stamp and a similar design.  This canvas is completely black.

And finally a tag.  Once again done with the same stamp!

So my Christmas cards have begun - onward ho!!  I sure do thank you for all your sweet comments and stopping in for a visit.

Sandy

Hey Sugar! See, I am learning... Your card is brilliant, really good to see another canvas from you too, love that. The tag is just the icing on the cake, love it too. How clever to have started your Christmas cards so soon too. Big hugs, Anne xx

Oh well done Sandy making a start on your Christmas cards! I always think I will but then can't face looking at Christmas stuff until at least August! These are so very inventive Sandy. I love your idea 3 in one! The snow man is so darling that he deserves to be on more artwork. The green is gorgeous against the black while the snowman is the perfect balance on your card. I love how you highlighted him with the die cuts and brads, the holly is beautiful in the middle of the die.
Your canvas is rich and the flow of the snowflakes is so pretty like they are dancing around. It is a happy canvas and needs to go behind your snowmen for decorating, what a great accessory the canvas will be.
You know I love tags and this one is perfect, the bird is the right embellishment and your ribbon is really pretty in the ringlets and holly. I love the 3 together and how great is this as a gift at Christmas! You need to make more of these in different themes. Your gift giving would be done and everyone will love it! We would feel very special to receive a set like this! hint!
Very well done, and loveable like you are!
Love ya! Kelly

Hi Sandy . . . laughed at Redanne's comment above . . . trying to learn "Southern"! Should I have started this comment with Howdee?

Anyhow . . . on to your festive makes . . . they are all superb and I bet they are even better in real life. Naughty camera refusing to take a decent picture.

I host a RUDOLPH DAY challenge on my blog for festive makes each month starting 25th of the month - so it's on at the moment - until 7pm (UK TIME) tomorrow night . . . if you see this in time . . . please feel free to join in.

Your projects are outstanding, Sandy! If I absolutely had to choose, it would be the beautiful canvas! As Kelly put it so aptly, the snowflakes look like dancing starts against the black background....absolutely gorgeous! I know what you mean about the photos, I can never capture the glitter on my photographs....it always looks dull! I do love that sweet snowman.I'm a big fan of tags too and this one is just so stunning. I also love the note background on your card. I only have one Christmas card so far....better get busy!!!!

You've been a very busy gal! Love them all! Love seeing how one stamp can be used so many ways. Taking pics of our art works can be almost impossible to get them right. I think we all know that IRL is always better.

Hello Sandy, What a lovely idea to create 3 projects with the same stamp, moreover with a cute snowman.I just love how you created movement with the snowflakes on both the canvas and the tag, so pretty just like a winter "dance". Very lovely work my friend. Let's meet again for the 25th of march! Hugs. xoxo

I know what you mean about the sparkle it is hard to get it to show but your card is just wonderful and I love the tag very creative. Them you did it on canvas you are amazing my friend so much talent so inspiring. Everything turned out wonderful.

Oh I had to laugh at Anne's comment of "Sugar". They are learning to know us Southern folk aren't they? Maybe we should have some lessons on how to 'talk southren'? Your card is lovely, and I think your DH did a great job on the photography. Your little Snowman was delightful on all 3 projects, but I think I liked the canvas as my fav, maybe because I could see his happy expression better? (my eyes, not the photography!). All 3 items have such an attention to detail, I kept seeing something different each time I went back to look again. Great job to you & DH for his able assistance. Hope ya'll keep any of that white stuff up in the hills. Us Piedmont folk don' wan any of that down yere! TFS & stay warm. Pretty here in the Upstate today, but a biting wind.
