Joe's 8th Birthday

Today is my youngest grandson's 8th birthday.  Happy Birthday Joe!!!   Last Christmas Joe and his sisters spent a week with us and it snowed Christmas Day.  They had so much fun sledding down the mountain.  We live on top of a mountain out in the middle of no where.  There are tons of critters around which I just love.  Joe will be with us again this Christmas and we are really hoping for another great snowfall!!

Under the red and white paper clip there are 8 one dollar bills.  Of course there are 8 pennies, 8 quarters and 8 dimes.  Inside the paper bag is a secret message from Santa!!

And this is the very back - 8 nickels of course.  On the back of the secret Santa message is a special message from Nanny and Grampa Art.

I hope you got a kick out of my creation for my grandson and you know I would love to hearing from you!
Thanks!!!!!
Sandy

Oh Sandy, that is magnificent! I hope Joe can go sledding again this year. Even if he can't he can always remember that day with this adorable card. Pretty clever, lady. He's gonna have fun picking all the money off the card.

Oh my Goodness Sandy... what ideas you come up with.. this one is just so precious.. love the money idea and the letter from Santa and Grandpa's last page, a penny saved is a penny earned, but why the nickles?? Didn't get that one?? Your main page is so perfect and shows him what a fun time he is going to have with you at Christmas time.. What a place to live, on top of a mountain with no one around, wow.. love the inside, all 8's.. great thinking card..
Hugs, Jean

Hey sweetie! No idea how I missed this, but I'm glad I found it now. So happy belated birthday to sweet Joe; granny's card couldn't get any better. You are one of the most creative people I know and it's always a great pleasure to sit and admire your beautiful funny creations. You surely know how to make an amazing mix of beauty, humour and usefulness (look at those pennies too:))). Love the front scene, I imagine it is even more sparkling and full of joy in real life. The inside is so ...manly:)) and imaginative. Gorgeous letter from Santa too; hope you guys will have plenty of snow to play in this Christmas. Unfortunately we won't have snow this year, such a shame; but who knows:)
Wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a great new year, full of joy, happiness and most of all great health!
Sending big hugs across the ocean:) , Iulia
