Welcome to Inventory Challenge #30. A Christmas card challenge - how appropriate! It was in the low 30's in our mountains last night and promises to be cold again tonight. Hmmm - I still don't hear Christmas bells. So the next best thing was to make a card. My cute friend Cathy-Lynn made a paper bag card and even provided a tutorial on her blog. Not only that, she sent me that very card and it is fabulous! So I decided to give it a go! They are so much fun to make and I love the touch of whimsey this style of card offers. Thanks Cathy!!
Miss Gingerbread Tilda
It is always so much fun to find a little surprise inside a card.
Ghirardelli chocolate yum! "A Christmas goodie from me to you - Eat it fast before I do!"
This is the back - I was experimenting and believe me I learned a lot! First I wanted to leave the bag showing. Then I glued the die cut card stock to the bag. Easy right? The next day I realized the glue went through the paper and glued the actual bag part together. Oh no! I had no place to put my gingerbread man - oh woe is me. But I did learn so will try again cause I love these paper bag cards!!
Please visit my friends to see how they are celebrating Christmas in May.

Hey sweetie!
I was here this morning (now it's nearly evening where I live), admired your beauty heree, then headed to Cathy-Lynn where you sent us, then to Claudia where this bag originally comes from- I guess...lol and by the time I wanted to get back my sweet baby woke up:) Well, now he is fast asleep... so far.
What can I say? Your card is simply adorable and definitely something I have to "borrow" from you. That yummy chocolate bar in the inside pocket would make a perfect gift not only for Christmas, perfect for any card. I really have a hard time with ornating that inside part. Now I know what I have to do:)
Love your coloring- simply perfect with the right colors and lightness. You chose perfect colors for a perfect Chrissy card and love everything about it.

Knowing your love for cards and communicating with your friends arround the world who love them as well, I thought I would leave you a happy mothers day message on your site.
I hope the card and gift we sent made it up the mountain and has found its way to Sandy Lane. Your cards are awesome but they only capture a fraction of your overall creativity. Tell Art we said hello and have fun walking in the spring weather.
Love Scott
I guess it would have been more complete if I would have included a big hug and said:
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MOM.
love again, Scott
