Our Gang

When I was very young, I watched  television every afternoon after school.  It was the funniest and cutest show - Little Rascals.  Or maybe you may know it as Our Gang.

I am posting this to AJJ where the theme is going back to school and was chosen by Elizabeth.  I am also linking this to Try it on Tuesday where it was suggested we use coffee and cream colors and if not that then two other colors of your choice.  I chose coffee and cream.  It just sounds good doesn't it.

Tomorrow is Monday and my computer goes to the computer hospital for a while.  Don't you just hate it when you have to call in a specialist!  So I will be out of the loop for a few days.  Thank you so much for your visit and all comments are like frosting on a cake to me!  Thanks again!!

Love the vintage look of this cutie. And YES I did watch the Little Rascals...and laughed all through what would be regarded as very 'tame' entertainment these days. Love how you've torn the edges of image. Looks like an old, old photo. Hope all is well. TFS & Hugs

Sandy, this is fantastic. I never got to watch TV as a child because my grandparents refused to buy one while I was in school. The day I graduated from high school, they got their first TV. So I never saw the Little Rascals, but I certainly appreciate the beauty of this one.

I am also having trouble with my computer, or I would have been here much earlier this evening. I hope you get it fixed and it works properly for you once you get it home.

All in all, I love this entry, and am so glad you found time to join AJJ again this month.

I love the vintage style and stamping on this gorgeous project Sandy. I'm not familiar with the program you are referring to but it sounds like it was fun.
Hope you computer gets a good bill of health and is quickly returned, they are marvelous when they're working fine but a real pain when they play up aren't they.

Hi Sandy, This is a fabulous page with lots of lovely images, and the coffee and cream colours are perfect with this picture. I'm not familiar with the show here in the UK, but those kids sure do look cute!
I do hope your computers stay in hospital isn't too long and the specialist can get it up and running with a clean bill of health very soon.
Hugs, Avril xx
p.s. Nearly forgot to say Thanks for sharing at TioT. x

This is fabulous Sandy, a wonderful vintage design.
My first memories of TV as a child are 'Watch with Mother' at lunchtime, it's a bit different now isn't it!
I hope your computer doesn't have to stay in 'hospital' for long.

The image of those little guys is just SO adorable, you have given it all such a wonderful vintage look too - the coffee and cream colours are just perfect. I am old enough but I just don't remember seeing that show but we were quite late in getting TV at our house and even when we did my brother and I would always go off on adventures on our bikes - those were the days! I love this Our Gang collage! I watched that show too. Since the show was only in black & white then, your piece looks great in coffee and cream. Full of fun details.

You did an awesome job on your "old school" look. I've never seen the show. My hubby talks about it all the time.

Hi Sandy, lovely make, great stamping and photo. Don't know this TV show, so possibly only in America. My memories are of Watch with Mother, could have been something similar, take care Kate x

oh, I love this!! I loved watching the Little Rascals (fun fact, I was "Joey" one Halloween in college, remember him?)
Sorry your computer has to go see a specialist, be sure to backup everything...just in case ;)

Oh, dear, not the computer hospital!! I hope you don't have to take an ambulance...they are so costly. Ask me why I know.

Your journal pages are wonderful and bring back memories! I vaguely remember the Little Rascals, but not sure if it was just my Dad talking about them. Perfect colors to use for this vintage page spread. I love that textured background! Hope your computer is feeling back to 100% soon! Hugs!

I love this Sandy! You've aced the vintage, chic look and it's fabulous. That's such a cute pic and I like the two kids on the far right... the little guy really has some swag and is probably telling her what a good time he can show her!
Hope your computer woes are over. I'm in the midst of transferring all my info, emails, pics, etc from my desktop onto a new laptop. I get so annoyed with this old thing when it freezes up and slows down so time to say goodbye to it.
