The Holly and The Ivy

It is the 25th of April and that means Rudolph Day.  Anything goes as long as it is a Christmas Card.

At the Dehon home it is the year of the Mouse.  Let us not forget our little friends out in the wood.  They do collect little pieces of this and that to make their little homes more comfortable.

These little babies are always so grateful!

Another one of my Wee Forest Folk.  This one measures two and one half inches wide (6.5 cm) by
one and a quarter inches high (three cm).

You can find my card and many others at April Rudolph Challenge.  Please join us and make a Christmas Card.  It could be your first card for 2016!

Once again I do thank you for all of your comments - there are so many sweet and thoughtful people out there in Blogland and so many sites to visit.  Thank you again.
Sandy xx

Oh Sandy! these litle mice are adorable singing Christmas carols (I suppose!) around the candle! I love the sheet music you made--my favorite--and those beads to echo the berries. Sa-weet! And those Wee Folk just tickle me pink!

Thank you for your awesome comment(s) on my blog--I just giggled all through the one you left on my kiddos! My how they have grown! Ethan is 6'2" at last count, and has no trouble looking in the mail box on his own. Lauren, bless her heart, is just now able to look me square in the eye! I wish I had more years to have more babies, but started WAY too late in life! Hugs to you, sweetie!

Another so sweet Christmas card! With buttons and beads and bows. The caroling mice are just adorable! Your coloring is so good. And your designing to teriffic too. You sucked me in for wanting to get my first Christmas card made but it most likely won't get past the wanting stage at this point.

Hi Sandy, so sweet, I love the image and your fabulous design. Your little ornament is gorgeous.

Yes it is me holding the puppy, he is just adorable and loving every minute I spend with him. N Alistair and I won't be having a dog, we go away too often and it wouldn't be fair on the dog. I just love our beautiful cat Teallach. Hope all is well with you, we have returned to winter, snow and sleet today and oh so cold, hope your weather is warm, Kate x

Another sweet HM card, love that you've included their carol sheet and that little beaded bow is a great finishing touch.
The Wee Forest folk are amazing - that Gingerbread house must be so tiny - and all those fabulous details, you must never get tired of looking at them.

Love those little 'meeces' - got a few but I am not that good at colouring them in. Need to look at yours more closely.
I live in the UK - in the north of the country (not Scotland though) and we have big big hills (Pennines) which means we get this kind of weather.

Sorry you did't see your comments. I had not been on the computer because I am suffering with my neck at the moment. Went for remedial work on it yesterday and today it is suffering but hopefully will slowly start to heal. Sorry you could not find your comments.
