Bonjour

This French inspired garden page is for my art journal that I am making for  A Vintage Journey.   Each challenge at A Vintage Journey will result in a new page for my book.  The challenge is to make something  "a little bit French".  A little bit French?  That's like saying a little bit pregnant.  To me, you are either French or you're not but Astrid has asked for "a little bit French"  oui!!

Not too much Tim Holtz on here - just the pewter lock.  Vintage?  What about my main image.  French?  To the bone!

Challenges I am entering:

A Vintage Journey - A little bit French
Vintage Stamping Challenges - Challenge #19 - Anything Goes

I do appreciate you visiting my blog and taking the time to leave a comment.  It does mean a lot.
Thanks,
Sandy

I totally love the idea of making a page for each of our challenge themes Sandy and this one is certainly a beauty with a lot of French feel to it. Now what did I mean hey, with that particular challenge theme? See, it means you can just use something which evokes that little bit of a French feel. Not to worry, - it's a lovely piece.

Hello Sweet Sandy!...I am so very late visiting, but what a treat. I agree with you, you are either French or you are not. and I also agree that I put a little bit of French into everything I make LOL. oui, voilà.... I completely adore your page. I also love uniting the definition "friend" to "Le jardin". Friendship is like a garden, it is such a beautiful comparision. I love those papers so much, their vintage look and all the beautiful french words. Hope all is well with you! we are still waiting for spring to arrive! Take care. Hugs. xox

I love the layers of paper you did and the image, I am still coveting what is left of mine! lol I am so busy with finding a house, a few were sold before our offer went in and the one we actually got in just went into foreclosure and we thought we lost it, well the realtor called us back and we finally have a house in SD. Now to hope the inspection goes well and this house sale goes well. Packing for our move May 16th, I will try to keep in touch with you!
Love ya,

Oui, Oui, indeedy! I didn't know us Carolina girls could get in the groove with French country, but you sure did, girl. I love this G45 paper, and you've used it to great advantage on this pretty card. Like the pewter touch you've added, and the vintage look too. Hope you didn't freeze overnight. Our heat went back on this afternoon. Don't think any plants froze last night, but I broke down and covered my "Mama's rosebush" about 9pm. Sun is out pretty, but it's chilly. TFS & Hugs
