Curves and Swirls

While on vacation this summer, my grand daughter Nicole thought it would be fun to eat dessert first and seeing that we were at a restaurant that had delicious looking pies,  we decided that would be a great idea.

Doesn't this look yummy!?!  I won't tell your Mom Nicole.

That is the look of sheer pleasure!

Grampa Art loves eating his pie before dinner!

The inventory challenge this week was to make a card using curves and swirls.  By the time you get to the wonderful age of 66, you probably have curves and you should know how to swirl!!!!!!    I want you to know . . .  I earned my curves the old fashioned way !

I give you my interpretation of curves and swirls.

Please join my friends and fellow teammates for Inventory Challenge #43 . . .

I am 2 years away from 60, and unfortunately I have not much curves, I look like a skinny shallot, 2 of me would fit in the skirt worn by this very happy curvy woman! I am more of the strrrrraight type, to the bones!!!!
Gosh I missed coming to your blog and laught out loud, to apoint where a neigbour across the street just turned aroud in the direction of my opened window, he heard me!!!

Desert firs is a fabulous idea. I am all for desert first and have practiced it a few times too many. lol! I love your fun and creative card. Adorable card. Love your beautiful coloring too! So glad you are creating again. I know you had a wonderful time with the grand kids. I always do too. My oldest Great granddaughter from CA spent 7 weeks with us this summer. Of course her Nana brought her so we had a wonderful time getting to know her. I usually only get to see her once a year if I go out there.

He.he! Eating pies is a great summer pastime; still I can't see why you speak of curves- I've been looking closely at the pictures beneath this post and you look very slim to me. Did you eat those pies afterwards...lol?
Where on earth did you find that stamp? It's gorgeous! That would put a smile on anyone's face. Your card is adorable and those swirls just add to the comic of the situation:) That which made me laugh even louder was the pattern on the dress- just perfect to make her look bigger...lol:))
Love it sweets! Gotta go to sleep! Luv ya!

Hi Sandy, Thanks for your comment on my card for the CMC readers club challenge. I was checking your profile and I see that one of your favorite books is 'A tree grown in Brooklyn' and it brought back memories of my Mom who gave me that book because it was her favorite. I loved that book and so much, partly because of the story and partly because as I read it I could think of my Mom's reaction to the story. I have passed it on to my daughter and I believe it is one of her favorites as well. Reading is so inspirational. Oh by the way beautiful Snow Flower card.
