Rudolph Day

It is time to play Christmas Card fun with my sweet and talented friend Sarn!  I am so glad she is doing this and fortunately I caught the last year she will be hosting this challenge.  It will help me have some Christmas Cards for 2014.  And yes Alison, you are on the list!!

If you would like to enter this fun Christmas card challenge, please go to
Rudolph Day!

Thanks for visiting today and surely spring will come soon to my friends throughout the United States and through out the world.  I enjoy your comments so much!
Sandy xx

Yuck - I just looked at the pictures of my cards -- I picked out a brown kraft paper to place the cards on when taking the pictures.  Yuck.  Really the card itself is white.  I will not make that mistake again!!!!

  1. What motivation you have!! I'm in awe with the chevron pattern and those mini poinsettias you've added are GORGEOUS! It's like looking at the most wonderful and warm winter sweater on a card.
Also, when you tell Alison she's on your list..that's a good thing, right? ;)
I've been on some people's lists before and not once did I ever get a card. :D
hugs to you and thanks for the Spring wishes...

  5. I really admire you, Sandy! Well done for starting these so soon! You are like the sensible working ant storing for the winter, while grasshoppers like me keep putting off their Christmas cards until it's too late! Last yr I think I managed to make 5! These 2 are gorgeous as well! Julie Ann xxx

  9. Beautiful cards Sandy. I love the die or papers you used with the little cut outs, so beautiful. These turned out great. I am having a really sad day, my Pastor's wife died this morning, she was only 55. Please say a little prayer for us. We are kinda in shock.

  13. How funny - I was quite enjoying the kraft borders (but then I'm a sucker for kraft card!)... Am so full of admiration for you getting these cards under your belt, and those fabulous chevrons make such a cool design feature. Brilliant snowflake die-cut, and the vines are really pretty with the poinsettias too - another couple of crackers!

  19. OK...no fair not tellin' how you made these pretty cards! I'm really, really liking these chevron block strips. They make me think of cross stitch designs. Well done, YOU! Love the poinsettias on each one, and you have done an outstanding design job. And personally, even though you said the kraft was the background, it looks pretty good as a card base too! But I'm sure the white is much more dramatic. I bet you win at Rudolph's place. Not even sure I will make it this month....{sigh}. TFS & Hugs- stay warm.

  68. I always love your cards Sandy but half the fun of popping over to your wonderful blog is your great sense of humor ... You just make me smile with the things you write. These Christmas cards are wonderful & how lovely it would be to get some made BEFORE Christmas when I have run out of time & have to go to the store to buy a few. That is such a shame for me. I have all these amazing supplies & didn't get one Christmas card done.
Maybe this will inspire me !!!
    Hugs, Janie
