Celebrate!

We are so excited and very, very thankful.   Our friend Jacque is cancer free!!!!!!!!   Congratulations Jacque, we are tickled pink!!!!!!!

Christina and Danielle have decided our challenge would be about trees.  I live back in the mountains surrounded by the most beautiful trees you have ever seen.  In other words,  I live in the woods!  Some friends of mine are having a picnic celebrating Jacque's good news. .



 If you to out in the woods today you're in for a big surprise.  If you go out in the woods today you better go in disguise .....  Today's the day the teddy bears have their picnic.

    Sandy, this paperbag card is so adorable.. used to make them but then they seemed to fade out, but so glad to see you are making them.. I LOVE your theme and am SO HAPPY for Jacaque and wish I could have joined your party but not yet. will let you know when.. I adore your card and the trees and the senerity of it all. I adore the inside and your secret message.. you are a beautiful person and do beautiful work..

    Oh My goodness Sandy this is treeeemendous!!!! I would never guessed this to be a paper bag. Wow girl you've done an amazing job with the assorted stamps and gorgeous die cuts. You've definitely inspired me to try another paper bag card. Your coloring is awesome along with your assortment of CS. Great Job!!!!

    OH!!! Sandy, ... You have created a magnificient card, giving the tree a place of honor. I love the paper, the lace, the colors, all is perfect. the inside is awesome, with the tag, and the hidden pocked, and the beautiful citation. You chose the sentiment "believe", and your tree sems to come out of winter, emerging from a storm, he has now all the little blooms on is branches, and seems to be dancing. Quite a strong symbol, relating perfectly to ourdear Jacque. I love love love your card.

    Stunning! STUNNING! This card is really beautiful Sandy - gorgeous coloring on the images (and I love the cute little bears at the picnic). The way you've used the paper is just fabulous. Matching corners, beautifully punched frames, the little heart on the string (grin) and the finishing on the back. All are awesome! This is drop dead gorgeous!

    Well I do declare Mz. Sandy, this may be your finest card to date! First, I'm mad about those colors. Second, it is so elegant and beautiful in its simplicity...then you open it up and here comes the fun! I wonder if they'd mind if I joined their tea party? Love the borders and the vines with little leaves...just gorgeous!!! Teacher says "A+"

    Absolutely delightful card, Sandy. This is just perfect - I wish I could join the teddy bear picnic. Looks like fun. Now - your sentiment. You do know you're preaching to the choir, don't you?     AWWWWWWW!! Sandy this is just too cute. The front is beautiful depicting what is just ahead for us. Our leaves are already turning and falling off the trees. The inside is just gorgeous. I love the teddy bears' picnic. What a wonderful job you have done on this piece. Even the back is a work of beauty. Everything on this card is just perfect.
    It really does honor Jacque in a wonderful unique way!

    I'm very happy to hear that your friend is cancer free!!! That's a GREAT news!! :-) so, i live in woods, too, hope they won't come around to have tea party in the backyard of this house! lol!!     Sandy, can't tell you how much I neede to see such a wonderful card made for a fabulous purpose. Sometimes I think that no card looks as good as one made for a genuinely wonderful purpose! Your friend Cathy's blog is fabulous as well, love that pocket maggie card she just made. I've made one of those but no where near as well as Cathy!     Classic, elegant, adorable, charming... so much to look at and admire today Sandy! Lovely tree (I've had the tree on the front for a couple years and still haven't used it! 50 lashes with a wet noodle)! What a delightful surprise inside! I love paper bags too...so fun and creative! Love those Magnolia dies!

    Hey girlfriend! Sorry it's taken me so long to comment on this adorable card...we've had a bit of weather up here in Richmond...and we've been without power since mid-afternoon on Saturday. With any luck power will be restored tonight...but am not holding my breath! We'll see. Thank goodness for Barnes & Noble! Your card is gorgeous...I really am liking the paper bag cards...and perhaps I'll give it a try!! I love the teddy bear picnic scene you created! And that tree stamp on the front is so elegant!! We really need to catch up soon...perhaps once I get power restored!! Hugs. Pat

    I remembered I didn't leave a comment on this masterpiece, although I had admired it some time ago. I see you are into detailed elaborated cards lately, this means you really take your time and enjoy making them. The result is fabulous on each one of them. Love these papers and the picnic scene- gorgeous LOTV stamp, so beautifully showcased. Also, the tree stamps are fabulous, I really must have some of those too. And I also need some tag dies- they look amazing on this kind of projects; now I definitely have to make some paper bag cards too; they look gorgeous and sophisticated, at least yours surely do. Also, love the old time, nostalgic feel of this card. So precious and adorable!
