In The Meadow

It is time for me to high tail it over to Mo's for the Rudolph Challenge.  I started not to post this card as I am not pleased with it but what the heck.

In the meadow we can build a snowman - la te da  ......

I collect these tiny little mice called Wee Forest Folk which you can find here.

This little sculpture is a little over an inch high and the mice are around 1/2 of an inch tall!  One of my very favorites.

So it is not surprising to know that I really do like the House Mouse stamps and have several.  Some of them are so big  I really don't know what to do for cards using them.
But I do love little mice - always have and always will.

I am entering my card into the Rudolph Challenge here.

I hope I am leaving you with a smile on your face and love in your heart!

Well aren't you the mousie queen bee! LOVE your 'krafty' meece card. That is such a great effect to color on kraft and cool glitterness.

Your little Wee Forest Folk are so cute and I cannot believe they are so tiny!!!

I can't see a reason that you wouldn't be happy with this card. Maybe a thin bright red border around the outside. Those sweet little mice are singing with all their heart.
I could not hardly believe how small your mice figurine is! So much detail in such a tiny piece.

Your card is great, Sandy. Glad you decided to post. Your little mice are adorable ... I have not seen that line before -- perhaps not in Canada. One day you must share your entire collection -- would love to see. Big Hugs, Donna

How cute and I love the pretty glitter. I also adore the House Mouse stamps and yep, they sure are bigger... but then I just make bigger cards!
This is so nice. The kraft paper is such a homey, down to earth contrast agains those cute mice and the glitter.
I wouldn't mind if you tossed a little of your creativity my way... you have such a knack to take a plain old image and jazz it up in such a unique way.

Hi Sandy
Don't know what you are unhappy with but we are our own worst critics.
Such a cute card with the little meeces and your sculpture is so sweet.
Meeces are cute but only when they are outside in a field 3 miles from my house lol!
Have a great weekend.

Wow! You have been busy Sandy. Ok, I have a real mouse phobia so your card gives me the shivers!! Which you can take it as you did an excellent job on it. LOL A house we lived in had a REAL problem which has left me with a bad phobia.
Think of you often with that warm weather. ;-0

The wee ornament is great too. Very Christmassy!

You are too hard on yourself! This is a sweet and most adorable card. I too love the house mouse images. So glad you shared your wee mouse collectables with us!

I sometimes have cards that I am not enthralled with but I have learned to mail them anyways. I usually find that anyone who does not make cards, will love anything that is handmade and sent especially to them! lol

Thanks for taking part in the February Rudolph Days Challenge. Good luck in the prize draw.

Love, this, Sandy - as a child I collected how shall I say, not real mice but little stuffed things made to look like mice that I think were actually made of rabbit fur, but what did I know?! And now that I think of it, these resemble a lot of my current cat toys, but with much more realistic detail. I had a little invisible (to everyone but me) mouse friend when I was very young, who sat on the edge of my cereal bowl.... probably TMI and no doubt explains a lot of my work, lol! But thank you so much for this post - made my day - I love your little mouse vignettes! xxx Lynn

I'm really not sure why you're not happy with this card because I think it's adorable. I'm a real fan of stamping on Kraft card as I always think it makes the image pop. The stamp is so sweet and I think you've used just the right amount of colour on it. I also like the way that you've glittered the larger mouse and have them sitting on glittery snow. Thank you for visiting my blog and for becoming my newest follower. I will now return the compliment. Wishing you a happy crafting week :)

It certainly made me feel happy! I love your little mouse couple - it must be really tiny though, so obviously very special! Hugs, Chrisx
ps -To answer your question, yes, the flowers are using a LaBlanche stamp.

Aw this is so sweet Sandy, I love the little footprints and the happy little mice. We had a mouse family all last Summer that lived in a wall underneath the bird feeder. I used to love watching them run around - I never did tell my hubby though lol.
